Pineapple Plantation - Reflections 1

Photo taken during my boring evenings while working on my computer deployment project in Batu Pahat, Johore, Malaysia. The photo was taken with my new toy, being the Nikon D60, bought a few weeks back. Camera setting is set on AUTO. (haven't had the time to read the manual). I simply "meter" the pineapple plants and lock the exposure and the lens is on auto-focus. The lens used is the standard 18-55mm that comes with the camera. (It's not the camera but the brains behind the camera). Photo taken approximately 2 hours before sunset located in a large pineapple plantation in Simpang Renggam, Kluang, Johore, Malaysia. How large? About 5 kilometers by 5 kilometers. Where? Latitude 1°49'33.83"N Longtitude 103°14'5.12"E. Check it out in Google Map.

I have been told that the pineapples when harvested are processed in Skudai, Johor Bahru and exported mostly to Japan and elsewhere. Also, fully riped pineapples are discarded as it is not suitable for processing and canning.
